  1. I just found your blog and am thoroughly enjoying it. I was thrown a curve in June with a metastatic diagnosis to the bone–a mere 18 months after my hellish year of chemo etc. etc. etc. I started a daily blog to keep me focused and it has been the best thing…ever. My writing skills are rusty so I’m learning as I go but ranting about the injustices of the lack of funding for stage 4 keeps me going. I also plan on swimming across lakes–anywhere–to raise awareness and am looking for a swim partner–if you are interested. Keep it up!

  2. Hey Heather! I want to check up on you. I hope you are feeling better. Please let others pamper you and take one day at a time. Hang in there!! Days will get better.

    xoxo

  3. Hi
I’m not really sure where you are located but if you might consider surgery, I would recommend Dr. Steven P Davidson – he is honest tells you what he thinks, he listens and he try to understand what you are looking for. I use to work with him for several years before I had my own kids then I sadly had to have some work done and I know many surgeions and by far I trust Dr. D the most. What ever you decide will be the right decision for you and your family. I enjoyed your article, thank you for sharing.

  4. I just found your blog and though I admit I don’t spend a ton of time surfing the internet, I have poked around a fair amount since starting my own breast cancer blog in March; and yours is the first one that… well, that reminds me of me and my life and my experiences. (Plus you’re damn funny, I wish I could write with a little humor!) I look forward to reading more.

  5. Hey Heather, your blog is amazing. And you are hysterical. My identical twin told me to check it out. Hope you are doing well. Totally relate to the Buzz Cut story. Now that my hair has grown back short, it’s kinda butchy..ok it is.. at least it didn’t come in gray for being 54! Everyone at work says “No gray?” Best boob regards from Palm Bch Gardens, FL
